The team of the <a href=\"http:\/\/dsa3.unipg.it\/en\/research\/27-research\/370-agricultural-microbiology\">Microbiology Research Unit<\/a>\u00a0 has been working for many years in the area of investigation of taxonomy, biodiversity and biotechnology of yeasts.<\/p>\n<p>Research at DBVPG has demonstrated the considerable value connected with the yeast biodiversity conserved into the Collection. Such biodiversity can be of significant value to a variety of industries (including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, cosmetics, etc.). The yeast biodiversity preserved in the DBVPG Collection and the know-how and skills of DBVPG researchers in understanding and working with the Collection, is available for collaborative research
