Welcome to the Industrial Yeasts Collection DBVPG of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of the University of Perugia, academic biological resource centre affiliated to ECCO (European Culture Collection Organization) and WFCC (World Federation of Culture Collections).
The DBVPG Collection is specialized in the study and ex-situ conservation of yeasts and yeast-like microorganisms, distributes strains and offers services to the international scientific community and to other private Institutions
Services
Research at DBVPG is connected with the activities of the hosting Institution (Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Science – DSA3, University of Perugia). The team of the Microbiology Research Unit has been working for many years in the area of investigation of taxonomy, biodiversity and biotechnology of yeasts.
